<aside>
Paget disease of the breast is a rare form of intraductal adenocarcinoma that involves the epidermis of the nipple–areolar complex, usually associated with an underlying Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) or Invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC).

It accounts for 1–3% of all breast cancers.
| Modality | Imaging features |
|---|---|
| Mammography | Negative mammogram does not exclude disease |
| • Subareolar or retroareolar mass | |
| • Microcalcifications (linear, branching if DCIS) | |
| • Skin thickening or nipple retraction | |
| US | • Subareolar mass |
| • Ductal ectasia | |
| • Axillary lymphadenopathy | |
| • Hypoechoic or heterogeneous mass under the nipple | |
| MR | Indicated especially when mammogram/US are normal. High sensitivity for multifocal/multicentric disease. |
| • Enhancing retroareolar mass or non-mass enhancement | |
| • Skin thickening or nipple enhancement | |
| • Segmental/linear enhancement pattern (DCIS) |
